America is the name of a whole continent. United States of America means that the United States belongs to America and NOT that America belongs to the United States. So, next time you want to refer to The United States of America, you can do it as U.S. or the States or whatever you want but not as only America. Gotcha?

the US, which is where I'm from and where I live, has lots of weird things. like why do most of the people here call it soccer when calcio is a way cooler name? and for that matter, why do both the UK and the US call it pineapple when most countries call it a variant of the name ananas?

Someone was really this hard pressed to go and pay for a website just because people refer to the US as America.
Most United Statians refer to their country as America. They have serious identity issues, but they are nowadays learning beyond their frontiers.

Most citizens of the U.S. have been conditioned to do as the leaders say and do. Sadly, it is no longer a secret as we can see it on the how the media influences people. Taken the name of the continent is not a coincidence but part of their plan. No difference with the name "America". These people play with people's minds and the people take it as is without questioning. America, as all know, is the name given to the new world by Europeans.

You very concerned because the United States also calls itself America, but no one stops calling "Greece" to Hellada, "China" to Zonghuó and "Egypt" to Misr (These are their TRUE names!).
